Directions for Use

Surface Preparation

• The surface must be clean, dry, and free from contaminants before painting.

• For aluminum, iron, carbon steel, and stainless steel: Clean and abrade the surface manually or mechanically using sandpaper or abrasive cloth to remove contaminants and improve adhesion.

• For steel and galvanized sheet metal: The surface must be clean, dry, and free from zinc salts. Clean and abrade the surface in the same manner as other metal surfaces.

• For surfaces with existing paint: The surface can be cleaned by sandblasting or high-pressure water. If damaged paint cannot be completely removed, perform coarse sanding, then apply one coat of paint and allow it to dry. Sand the surface again to create a suitable substrate before application.
